Coconut oil is widely recognised for its ability to improve the condition of hair and aid hair growth. It helps reduce protein loss and damage to the hair. It’s particularly useful if you dye your hair often or regularly use heat on it with a hairdryer or straighteners. You can use coconut oil on your hair in various ways, depending on the results you are looking to achieve.

Deep conditioning – it is a good idea to put a deep conditioner on your hair once a week, and coconut oil is a great alternative to more expensive options on the market. Massage some oil throughout your hair, especially at the ends and leave it for an hour to overnight before washing it out. It will be all smooth and shiny.
Dandruff – if this is a problem for you, as it is for so many, it might be worth trying coconut oil to ease it. Melt the coconut oil in your hands and smooth it through your hair. Wrap your hair up in a towel and leave it on overnight for the best results.
Longer hair – there are plenty of vitamins and essential fatty acids in coconut oil, which help to keep hair nourished. If you use it in much the same way as you would for dandruff, i.e., leaving it to sit overnight, once or twice a week, you should start to notice a difference in the length and condition of your hair. You might want to use it on your eyebrows, too, if you are looking for some growth there.
