Most of us love a curry, but whether we can’t get enough korma or we’re more into madras it’s not a sensible idea to eat hot or spicy food after a gym session.

Anything with chilli in it is best avoided including spicy dips and sauces. Chillies contain a substance called capsaicin which can irritate the digestive system, plus hot, spicy foods are more difficult to digest.
