5. Mushroom and Chilli-Garlic Green Beans
When it comes to Christmas dinner, a quick internet search for “Christmas vegetables” will provide literally hundreds of thousands of recipes for pimping up your veg (the majority of them involving brussels sprouts and parsnips).
Most of them however, are complex and involve a lot of time and many pots and pans – both of which are valuable and in short supply when cooking Christmas dinner.
But we love a side dish that’s a little bit different, at the same time as being easy peasy and quick. So we simply had to try this recipe for Mushroom and Chilli-Garlic Green Beans. Green beans are packed with vitamins A, C and K along with essential minerals, and make a super healthy side. The chilli-garlic sauce is divine and you’ll be as surprised as we were at how well green beans go with mushrooms. It’s our new favourite foodie duo!
