Amazing as they are, blueberries won’t magically cancel out the negative effects of regularly eating processed foods high in saturated fat, sugar and salt or a sedentary lifestyle.
If you take blood thinning medications such as Warfarin, check with your doctor before suddenly eating blueberries every day. This is because they contain vitamin K, which is responsible for blood clotting, and it can interfere with the efficacy of your blood thinning medications.
Otherwise, aim for around 150g or one small cup of blueberries a day. Enjoy!
