1. Garlic

Allicin and Metabolism
Garlic contains allicin, a compound that has been shown to boost metabolism and promote fat burning. Garlic also has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, supporting overall health.
Health Benefits
- Boosts Metabolism: Allicin helps increase metabolic rate and fat burning.
- Reduces Inflammation: Anti-inflammatory properties support overall health.
- Rich in Antioxidants: Protects cells from oxidative damage.
How to Enjoy
- In Cooking: Add fresh or roasted garlic to your dishes for flavor and health benefits.
- Garlic Powder: Use garlic powder to season your meals.
- Supplements: Take garlic supplements if you prefer.
The World Health Organisation’s (WHO’s) guidelines recommend 2 to 5 grams of fresh garlic daily, which is around one clove (or 0.4 to 1.2g dried garlic powder). Cooking garlic at a high temperature can damage allicin, so eat it raw, if you (and those in close proximity to you) can handle it! Or, add it right at the end of the cooking process to help keep it as raw as possible.
