13. Vegan Christmas Cookies

If you’re vegan or you have a vegan coming for Christmas dinner, there’s no need to miss out on the sweet treats, or stress about catering for everyone with a healthy dessert. Christmas cookies are more than capable of suiting all dietary requirements!

The best thing about Christmas cookies is that you can decorate them to your hearts’ content. It’s also great to get the kids involved in the decorating too. You can go full on Christmas colours with reds, greens and golds, or go a little off-piste with your favourite designs or even personalise them.

Icing and frosting can be purchased readymade, or you can make your own by making up a batch of regular icing and adding the food colours of your choice. Make them a little healthier by using superfood powders if you like – we love blueberry, bilberry, strawberry and matcha powders, and they’re all available from health food stores.
